A New Chapter for Our Family: Strand 22

As of 1 July, our family has embarked on an exciting new chapter. The Albus Group has taken over the operation of Strand 22, beautifully located on the Esplanade in Almere.

What began in 2002 with The Albus Hotel in Amsterdam has grown into a family business built on hospitality, quality, and genuine personal attention. In 2018, we took our first step into Almere with Restaurant Bakboord. Today, we are proud to further strengthen our connection with the city by welcoming Strand 22 to our family.

For us, this is much more than adding a new location. Strand 22 is a place where we have spent many enjoyable moments with our own family over the years, creating memories that make this opportunity especially meaningful. Being entrusted with the future of such a special venue is truly an honour.

We would like to sincerely thank Martin and Marina Ort, together with the entire Strand 22 team, for everything they have built over the years. Through their passion and dedication, Strand 22 has become a beloved destination for both the people of Almere and visitors alike. We are grateful for the opportunity to build on the strong foundation they have created.

Guests can continue to enjoy the relaxed beachside atmosphere that has always made Strand 22 so special. At the same time, we will bring the hospitality, quality, and personal service that define The Albus Group.
