A day of Sinterklaas magic at Restaurant Bakboord
On 15 November 2025, Restaurant Bakboord welcomed families to a truly enchanting Sinterklaas celebration. From the moment our doors opened at 10:30, excitement buzzed in the air as children and parents anticipated the arrival of Sinterklaas and his Pieten.
At 11:30, Sinterklaas arrived at the quay, perfectly visible from our terrace, to the delight of everyone gathered. Inside, the tables were festively decorated, and the aroma of delicious dishes prepared by our chefs filled the restaurant.
Children enjoyed a playful and delicious 2-course Pieten Lunch, while parents savored a special 2-course menu. Little guests who had placed their shoes the day before found joyful surprises, and festive coloring activities and piles of pepernoten kept them entertained.
It was a day full of laughter, shared meals, and unforgettable family moments, a true celebration of Dutch tradition at its best.
