Restaurant Bakboord Rises Half a Point in the Prestigious Gault & Millau Guide
February 5th 2024Today, the new guide has been released, and Restaurant Bakboord has risen by another half point, achieving a score of 13.5 points. This places Restaurant Bakboord once again as the best restaurant in Almere and Flevoland on the list.
The Gault & Millau inspector writes about Restaurant Bakboord: "Bakboord has continued to refine since the last review and is, in our opinion, one of the better addresses in the province of Flevoland. It’s worth the trip from Amsterdam and ’t Gooi. As the staff says: if only people dared to cross the Hollandse Brug more easily, they would discover the beauty that happens here. It’s wonderful to park for free next to the restaurant, enjoy the view of the lake, and discuss every dish with your dining companion. Like a composition around sea bass and vegetarian foie gras with pomelo, high in flavor and every bite exciting. Bakboord is progressing again and has achieved a higher score."
