Wine & Food Pairing: Piedmont Edition

On April 22, we had the pleasure of once again hosting a highly successful edition of our Wine & Food pairing evening at Restaurant Bakboord.

Following a series of sold-out and much-loved editions, wine specialist Alessandro returned, this time taking our guests on a journey to his cherished Piedmont, one of Italy’s most beautiful and characterful wine regions.

Throughout the evening, Alessandro shared his passion for the region’s rolling hills, climate, and rich history. Through personal stories,  from small family-run estates to iconic winemakers, he offered our guests a unique glimpse into the diversity and depth of Piedmont and its wines.

For this special occasion, our kitchen brigade created an elegant 4-course menu, carefully designed to complement Alessandro’s selection of wines. Each dish was thoughtfully matched, enhancing the wine experience and bringing new flavours and surprising combinations to life.

The result was an evening filled with flavour, inspiration, and culinary harmony, exactly what we strive to create at Restaurant Bakboord.
